1. How do I turn the Trainer on/off?

You can control this in Settings:

1. Go to Settings
2. Toggle Trainer Mode to Optimal or Off

This allows you to practice distraction-free or receive real-time feedback while playing.

2. What is Training Mode and how does EV work?

Training Mode shows the calculated Expected Value (EV) when viewing the optimal hold.

EV is displayed based on one credit and represents the expected return for that single credit.

This makes EV universal and easy to apply — whether you’re playing pennies or dollars. Simply multiply the EV by your wager size to understand the impact at your stake level.

3. How do I use Strategy Lens correctly?

Before using Strategy Lens, make sure the correct game variation is selected:

• Use the game dropdown above Strategy Lens
• Select the exact game you’re playing
• Then scan and review the recommendation

Each game variation has its own optimized calculations. Always confirm the correct game is selected before reviewing Strategy Lens results.

If the scan does not capture the cards correctly on the first attempt, simply rescan and try again.

After each scan, carefully review the captured cards before proceeding to ensure they match your actual hand.

4. What is Post-Hand Review?

Post-Hand Review provides feedback after a hand is completed. In Settings, you can choose:

• Mistakes Only – Shows review only when a suboptimal hold was made.
• End of Every Hand – Shows review after every hand.
• Off – Don't show the post-hand review.

When displayed, it includes the correct optimal hold, the Expected Value (EV), and the potential EV loss from the selected hold. This helps quantify mistakes and improve long-term decision-making.

5. I don’t see the game variation I want. What should I do?

We’re continuously expanding the app. New games, new pay tables, and additional improvements are coming soon. Keep the app updated to access the latest releases.

If you don't see the game variation you want, please suggest it and we'll try to add it to our roadmap.

6. How do I cancel my subscription?
